We take great pride in our work, ensuring that every project involves materials of an outstanding quality, sourced, fitted and finished to the highest standards. In line with our values we aim to reuse natural materials and thus promote a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of living. The vast majority of our products are therefore reclaimed and reconditioned*.

We know from experience that not all wood is created equal. Climatic growing conditions, location, and treatment over the years all affect condition and appearance. As an organic material that evolves with time it takes specialist knowledge and experience to select materials of character and quality.

We have invested time and energy in building the relationships that allow us to source premium grade timber from our heritage sites. We know that when you are investing in a solid wood floor, quality matters. Through nurturing positive relationships with our suppliers, we have also recently started salvaging and reusing antique brick slips in our design work. These can be used alongside the reclaimed wood, installed in both traditional and bespoke patterns to create striking and distinctive spaces.

*Just occasionally, when appropriate, we also source new timber from sustainable, managed woodland. Whilst we are passionate about reclaimed products, being open to using a limited amount of new wood in our designs allows us to provide

Our craftsmanship allows us to combine both traditional marquetry and modern finishing techniques to produce classic patterns like Herringbone, Chevron and Parquet de Versailles along with unique bespoke geometric commissions.
